a drop in the ocean...
LÍRIO-BRANCO... WEIßE LILIE ... AZUCENA BLANCA... GIGLIO BIANCO... LE LIS BLANC... WHITE LILY is an international movement created in Brazil, on December 2004, to fight for women rights all over the World. It’s not a foundation or a non-governmental-non-profit organization, it’s just a way to connect women (and men) interested in helping and be helped.
Maybe you think it's not your problem, it's beyond of your control or even there's nothing you could do for anybody else. But you can do. A lot. You just need to believe in yourself and change the way you look at the others: one of them could be your daughter, mother, sister, your beloved. There's always someone's beloved needing help somewhere, a woman just like you, a little girl like yours. Speak for those who can't do it for themselves. Cry out as a "musketeer": one for all and all for one!
Please, have in mind that WHITE LILY doesn't ask for money, only for your essential assistance, in that exact way you believe being able to help. Let's exchange information, ideas, legal and medical advice, denounces, petitions, general guidance, all kind of useful knowledge to support, comfort and even save women from abandoned corners of the planet. Let's combat cruelty in its multiform faces as such as sexual exploitation, slave work and the huge deficiency of awareness about potentially fatal diseases (from cancer to AIDS). Information is power, let's forward this power. Let’s allow every woman to be born healthy, grow up being protected, live free and grow old with dignity. Let’s give them a choice; let’s give them a chance.
First of all, we need to increase our chain: please join us and invite your friends and relatives to sign in WHITE LILY for Women Group at Internet (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/white-lily-for-women). Then, write us (in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German or Portuguese) about issues you would like discuss, petitions needing more signatures, who is needing help and tell us (even unidentified) how you could give any kind of assistance.
Thanks, dank, gracias, merci, grazie, obrigada!
